What is Swaplyst?
Swaplyst is a mobile app that connects people with peers and organizations through volunteering, internships, and skill exchange. You list what you can offer and what you want to learn, and you are matched with people and opportunities that fit both ways.
What does it cost?
Swaplyst is free for individuals. We are building a premium tier with optional extras on top, so some features will be paid in future, but there will still be a free way to use Swaplyst, and we will tell you what is changing before it changes. Organizations post free through November 2026, and every verified organization gets three free posts.
Does money ever change hands?
Not between the two sides of a swap. Time and skills are the currency there: no payment, no hourly rate, and no fee for what you exchange. A premium tier, when it arrives, is a subscription to Swaplyst itself and stays entirely separate from what passes between you and your match.
How is this different from a job board?
Job boards match on keywords and put you in an application queue. Swaplyst ranks by mutual fit, using what each side offers and needs alongside location, time, and duration. There is no cover letter, and a connection only opens when both sides say yes.
What can I use Swaplyst for?
Three things. Volunteer with causes that need your skills, intern with startups and impact organizations, or swap skills directly with a peer. One profile covers all three.
Does Swaplyst use AI?
Yes, in matching. Swaplyst reads what a skill means, not just its label, so someone offering front-end development can be matched with someone who wants to learn React even when the words don't line up. Ranking also weighs mutual fit, how close you are, and how recent an opportunity is. AI helps the two of you find each other. It does not decide for you, and a connection still only opens when both sides say yes.

Everywhere. Swaplyst is free to join and live on iOS and Android.
